Reasons we went for baby#2

1. Would it be fair to #1 to put my fears above his chance to have a companion?

2. Being a military child can be quite lonely already, so having a sibling might help mitigate it.

3. If we were to have another child, this is the time to do it.

3a. I’m only getting older. So are my ovaries. Pregnancy will not get easier.

3b. Husband is not deploying now and for entire 4th trimester.

4. Having a sibling can help build some social skills and empathy in #1.

5. Husband has always wanted more than one child, and I’ve always been ambivalent about it.

6. It’s more fair to a child to spread the burden of caring for an aging parent across multiple children than on only one.

Recruiter Interview went well last night! Bittersweet! Praises to the Lord for so many Awesome Blessings! 👨🏻‍🎓Both boys are dual-enrolling with Georgia Southern University 🦅 for their Senior Year Of High School. 👨🏻‍🎓Both will earn their college credits while still obtaining their HS College Prep Diplomas. 📜 Such a Proud Momma right now - So Surreal! 👨🏻‍🎓Both boys have also chosen National Guard Split Option - they will complete Basic Training this summer at Fort Benning, GA and start their Mil careers by weekend Drilling before going into their 1st year of college/last year of High School. 😫 👨🏻‍🎓Both boys can still Varsity in their HS sports ⚽️🤼‍♂️⚽️🤼‍♂️⚽️🤼‍♂️ - which is Super Exciting for them! 👨🏻‍🎓After graduating HS in May 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣, they will apply for contract ✍🏼 to the Georgia Southern Cadet Program where they will finish their Bachelor Degrees in their chosen fields, All expenses paid (Tuition & Fees, Room & Board, etc). 🤗 👦🏻👦🏻Where did my little boys go? 🕰 Where did the time go?
