As a really anxious trainer who has an Absol around to reassure them that disasters aren’t around every turn do you think it’d be a good idea for me to adopt a Miltank? She’s been at the local shelter for at least a year now and hasn’t had many potential adopters. The ones who don’t turn a blind eye to her quickly end up losing interest after they find out how ornery she is. I’d just like for her to have a good home..
I don't know if it's a good idea to have a Milktank as a single trainer. They need to be milked daily or they can get painfully sick; and they produce up to 20 liters of milk a day, which is usually more than a single trainer can manage. Plus, unless you're a wandering trainer in a gauntlet, they need fresh pasture to eat in combination with Normal-type food, and that can get complicated/expensive without a ranch or outdoor area.
If you feel like you can provide everything, then go ahead! Milktanks are very friendly and social, and she will bond quickly with you and your Absol. But they are not low maintenance, so that's something very important to keep in mind before adoptin'
