@milleemo replied to your post “why are people so obsessed with what hogwarts house asoiaf characters...”:
I totally would think Sansa would fit into Hufflepuff, one of the reasons being her reaction to Sandor's backstory. Responding with compassion is a very Hufflepuff thing to do, but being one myself, perhaps I'm a bit biased. But the girl does love those lemoncakes...
Ah, but consider how Sansa responds with compassion. Not “I'm sorry, how they all treated you was wrong *hug*” (Hufflepuff) or getting angry over the injustice (Gryffindor), but rather “he was no true knight” -- that Gregor doesn't fit with the ideal she has in her head for knighthood. It's a very Ravenclaw form of compassion. See also @corseque’s post for more on how Sansa reacted by slotting Sandor and Gregor into story tropes. (Also her ideals-format of compassion is partially why Sandor laughs when she says it, because it's such a little bird thing to do. ugh, I should do a post on that.)
And if loving sweets makes one a Hufflepuff, then paint me black and yellow and call me a badger, baby. ;)

Okay but consider this. HP characters in ASOIAF houses hmm hmm hmm??
Iiiii’m not a huge fan of simple-characteristic ASOIAF house sorting that much tbh. I mean, besides the fact that there’s such variance of personalities within each house, like, I always get Arryn on those quizzes and I have no idea why except maybe the quiz writers going intellect > air > moon and falcon / castle in the sky? I’m honestly not a “high as honor” type nor am I like any Arryn character that I know of. (Oh I also score high as Frey apparently because I answer yes to “do you have lots of relatives you’re close to”. Uh huh.) Plus all these quizzes were made pre-TWOIAF, lots of contradictory characteristics to the modern houses revealed in that book. But hell, if anyone’s doing a HP crossover with ASOIAF that way, gei gezunt, I’m not stopping you.

I for one would love to see your notes on Sansa from the panel, that sounds fascinating!
Oh nice, thank you. I’ll try and get them either in some decent format or put up a link to the gdoc soon. :)
