A sigh passed Wei Wuxian’s lips as he took an apple out of his sleeve. “You’re in luck, I had saved this one.” Little Apple perks his ears, and Wei Wuxian moved his hand to the side, free hand pushing the donkey’s muzzle away. “No, no, not again, you menace.”
Talon perked up at the offer of food, a smile spreading across his lips - one which he quickly tamped down again, however. For all the mortal’s kindness, he was still precisely that - a filthy mortal. It mattered not that he had so freely offered him what little he had...
