Millie Farrow, aka Patty, in her first installment of come quarinDINE with me
Following the early termination of the FAWSL season due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all Reading FC Women eyes are now focused on planning and preparing for the 2020-21 campaign.
And Reading FC Women can confirm that a number of first team players will not be renewing contracts at the club after their deals expire this summer. We would like to wish Mayumi Pacheco, Millie Farrow, Jo Potter, Rachael Laws, Sophie Howard and Maxime Bennink the very best of luck in their future careers.
And we also bid farewell to long-serving Royals Remi Allen and Charlie Estcourt. Remi Allen joined the club in our first top flight campaign and has been an important member of the squad ever since. Charlie came through the ranks, having first joined the Reading FC Women ranks at the age of 8. After a short spell with Chelsea’s youth system, she returned to our WSL Academy at the age of 16 to then break into our first team.
“I would personally like to put on record a massive thank you to all the players; every single one of them has played a huge part in the success and development of our club,” Royals boss Kelly Chambers said. “I cannot thank them enough for all their efforts and what they have given to myself as manager, the team and the club as a whole during their careers at Reading. "It is never easy saying goodbye to players, but I would like to personally wish them all the best in their next adventure.”
LOTS of releases at Reading. Jo Potter being one of them (although with Jade Moore at Orlando there might be more to that one)
my goodness these exits just keep getting worse and worse. I’m so sorry for them all, that’s 8 excellent players they’re releasing and some of them have been really vital this season and many in the past too. With Jade who has already left that’s at least 9 departures this year which really leaves Reading in a tight corner after the considerably impressive season they had. Even if they do bring in some top class replacements starting pre season with a team that’s practically half new is not an ideal situation, just look at Birmingham last year. Not only am I sorry for them and the team but I’m also kind of surprised, with the announcement of them playing at the men’s stadium next year of almost assumed they had a strong financial and resourceful structure in place, but with the furlough alongside all these departures then it looks like things aren’t as sunny as I though they were.
As for Jo Potter being on the list, well I’d assume that that’s the end of her playing career. She said before that this was probably her last contract so I’m not sure what will be next for her. Definitely working towards that Pro License and maybe going to the US with Jade. Whatever she plans on doing though I just hope she carries on having the success she’s had so far, and on a selfish note I just wish I’d been able to watch her play.
Ahh I’m actually really sad about all these players leaving, Reading is a great team with some fantastic personalities so seeing so many leave like this isn’t fun. Again I just hope they’ll be able to find offers and teams with relative ease...
millie farrow is having a wild time on her insta stories, every should go dine with her.
This is actual comedy gold wow, when I say I lost it with the cheese part I well and truly lost it- and so has she it seems. Reading players getting even more crazy by being locked up than the Arsenal players

Sooo I was doing a bit of research and Ruesha, Hannah Cain (ex Everton) and Millie Farrow (ex Reading) have all started following each other on Instagram. Could they have all signed for Leicester? Loads of Leicester players have started following Millie.
Leicester was one of the options we were debating for Ruesha so this may be what's coming especially if all these follows have been happening. Still holding out hopes for Reading and I think she's showed her worth enough to stay within the wsl but Leicester are doing good things with quite the professional set up too so I dont think it would be that bad of a move for her at all.
As for the other two going to Leicester, could definitely also be the case what with Millie being followed by loads of the players (although who wouldn't want to follow her and the absolute absolute banter on her stories). The signing for Hannah would move her closer to Bristol and give her more minutes. Plus it seems like bulk of wsl signings (minus Birmingham 😓) have already been done.
