some sort of caterpillar loaf?
hey i love these guys!
something positive is that Millie has gotten even more comfortable and happy than I previously thought possible and it's been so happy seeing her personality shift a bit :'-)
she was already incredibly well adjusted for a long term shelter dog but to see her start going up to each person at the dog park for affection bc she knows they're a source of pets when before she avoided strangers...! like yes baby everybody here loves you I'm glad you know this!
and for the majority of the time we've had her she hasn't really been a belly rub dog, like not one to be submissive and you could tell she felt pretty vulnerable on her back. but lately when she's laying down and we go to pet her, she rolls back so we can pet her belly 🥺 like it feels like she has just grown in her trust of us and knows she's safe and can enjoy all sorts of affection and interaction and I just love that for her so much 😭💕
‼️URGENT‼️
A week ago we took our dog, Millie to the vet. Today (10/25/19) we found out that she tested positive for heartworm. It may have been a false positive so they need to do additional testing, and potentially treatment. this is really unexpected because she's not symptomatic but it is fatal if left untreated. we already spent upwards of $350 at the vet last week and this is estimated at around $140 and we need help making it. please please please donate if you can, anything helps, even reblogs. we love her so much and will get her the help she needs but we just can't do it alone.
