back in like 2014 i wrote a little drabble of pete and millie being married (or at least like, calling each other life partners, marriage is a question mark) and having dinner with millie’s parents. they’re doing dishes in the kitchen and they’re talking abt how her mom just kinda..... hates him..... and millie’s just like. noo. it’s fine. ur good. when we started dating she hated u but she likes u now :)

pete: millie..... no........

millie: she might still be angry about that time you made us late to dinner the first time i took you to meet them

pete: millie there were ducklings it was important that we stop, millie, ducklings.

millie: i know it was really important but it pissed her off.

anyways this is a long roundabout way of saying that ever since then i’ve always pictured ducklings when i think about millipete
