She marked another long, successful night as she slid into the empty bar stool. Sometimes, she quite literally ran home to go to bed but tonight she wasn’t tired. Penelope constantly looked for a distraction from her own thoughts, and diving into another martini sounded perfect right now. Her eyes wandering amongst the strangers around her. She loved observing people, sensing the energy they were putting out. Her gaze coming to a stop as she caught their attention. The clear drink being placed in front of her causing her to look away for a moment, bringing the liquid comfort to her lips. She took a hefty sip, putting the glass down and looking around again. Her eyes finding him again. 

“Hey. You. Yeah. You,” she began. “Are you staring at me?” She spoke up towards him, fighting the corners of her lips from forming into a smile.
