“This place is nice,” Mara notes, her eyes casting around the room in approval. Certainly an upgrade from his former place of residence, small thing that it was. To be honest, it’s something of finer taste than she would ever expect Milos to have — which only adds to her theory that it’s former occupant likely had a very unscheduled departure. The thought is an amusement to her, as she turns to look at her brother once more. “How did you find it?” And what happened to the unfortunate sap that kept it before? ( @montykramer​ )

Flying is very quickly becoming Ari’s favorite thing. There’s nothing like the feeling of being high up in the sky, his wings spread out against the wind, far enough to touch the clouds as he passes by above the world. Like he can go anywhere he wants, anywhere at all and there’s nothing to stop him, nothing to get in his way. But there’s no place out there for him that’s not Corinth Bay, not truly, and so he always circles back around to come home. But perhaps he’s becoming too comfortable in his new skin, less careful, because this time he doesn’t realize he’s been followed until he’s already back on the ground, shifted back into his human skin. Blue eyes turn startled at the sound of movement by the tree line, holding his clothes in his hands and it feels like he’s been caught red handed — until he sees who it is. “Oh, shit,” the words fall quietly in a muttered breath, and truthfully, he’s not certain whether it’s better or worse than a random human.
