MIM Update Jan 2021

hey mice,

first we want to apologize for being missing during the past six or so odd months. the pandemic affected all of our mods in many, many different ways. some of us started schooling, some of us started new jobs, some of us lost jobs or lost family. it was a rough year for you and a rough year for us.

that said, we’re back and ready to start helping you guys out as much as we can. we’re going to make our way through our backlog of questions and any new questions we get. to help with this process we’re deleting any questions we got before november 2020--so if you sent a question before november 2020, please resubmit. we appreciate your patience with us during the past few months as we got our various real life situations sorted out.

as a reminder we are recruiting moderators, especially ones who feel they can be active during the week as that’s a bit of a difficult task for our current moderators.

Writing Update

Session starting word count: 26, 178

I added a little to chapter 6 (what happened after MMC had his self-pleasure session). I decided to hold off on another FMD chapter, in favor of writing the first of the Foundation files. This might be one of my more... dark bits. Its almost hurting my soul to write about characters that are so two-faced and full of vitriol. This first insert about The Foundation nods back to its founding .

I feel a little bad about writing this, but I dont feel like I'll have enough on the founding of The Foundation to make it its own book. I think I am going to keep these little snippets short, maybe a maximum of 2k words. I dont know if I want to have so much darkness in a story that ideally is a romance.

Book Writing Update

July 3, 2025

Currently, the first draft of my book is sitting at 12,205 words.

Updated some things in chapter 1 so its more detailed and makes more sense, now sitting at 4,056 words.

Updated chapter 2 so it alludes to the MMC being a soft core himbo. Current word count is 3,849

Chapter 3 is complete with 3,879 words and the FMC now has made it clearer what one of her goals is.

Hey lovlies!

I am still here and writing. However, my focus is not on fanfiction right now.

I am starting to work on a book series.

I've been wanting to write a book for the last 10ish years.

This doesnt mean that I am abandoning this page or my fanfictions. It just means that they are on hiatus until I need a break from writing my passion project.

UPDATE

So I am about a third of the way though my first year as a teacher!

I am also currently writing the final main chapter of Masquerade. I do want to write an epilogue as well.

I also have another oneshot idea. I was going to write an Emma fic but that idea got lost. Debating between a Kazutora fic or a Hanma fic.
