Be yourself (cheesy but true):
If you aren’t family friendly don’t act like you are
if nothing else it’ll bug the hell out of you

Consistency:
Make a schedule
It’s okay to have bonus streams but at least stick to your scheduled days
While I haven’t needed to yet, take a break of you need to
your true “fans” will understand
Figure out your “brand”:
Are you a one game, a few games, or a variety streamer?
pick one and stick to it
Sarah is more of a variety streamer while I play the same 3 on the same days each week and we both make it work
Do you want to have a chill stream or a chaotic one? There are ppl who like watching each so you’re good no matter what vibe you wanna have
Network:
Maintain other social media profiles
I maintain my tumblr obviously and I post on twitter aprox 2x per week
Imo Sarah Is real good with her twitter and I know people find her from tiktok
Chat in other streamers’ chats but don’t be fake
Collab with other streamers but be sure to check them out first
I watch a tiny bit of a streamer’s vods before I check them out live and get chatty when they are live
Sarah and I work well together precisely because we aren’t family friendly in categories that are overrun with streamers who are lol
Other tidbits:
Don’t plan to quit your day job
If you get to that point it won’t be any time soon
Everyone’s growth is different so if you compare don’t get sad if someone else is “doing better” than you
Follow for follow is a trap, don’t buy into it
Follower count isn’t necessarily everything
Viewers matter more
Your first few streams you might stream to 0 viewers
Get used to talking to the void or get some friends to sit in chat and talk with you so you have things to talk about
Spend as little money as possible on it
If you’re financially stable and streaming is your hobby then go ham lol
Don’t stream the most popular games if you want to be found but also make sure people have heard of the game

i definitely think there are better moots & blogs out there to explain it in more eloquent terms than me but i enjoy the world building experience and the character styles are fun. The MC is a feral gremlin boy that I want to protect forever but he’s also funny as helll.
I bought the first two volumes and took notes of my reactions because it is so silly and interesting in those early chapters. Also instant trauma happens to MC early on that just. Makes me wanna root for him even more (but he is crazy for sure).
The fight scenes and the different ways the characters will use their weapons is very interesting!
I wish I was better with words and promoting stuff T-T but I really like the world setting and how the skills work for characters based on their personality and the relationships they build with their tools and other people. I think it’s neat.
