Mimikaki are longer than Q-tips. They have small hooks or scoops on one end to remove ear wax and a little puff on the other to clean away crumbs of ear wax. In Japan, Mimikaki is an art form in some cases and a bonding experience in others. Family members and even girlfriends and boyfriends use the technique as an intimate moment.

I was watching a YouTube video this week and, in it, an audiologist was talking about the proper way to clean your ears. That got me thinking about mimikaki (ear picks, but literally translates to "ear rakes"). So, I decided to create Friday 4Koma comic about it.
