Hello, I play double bass but I had to return my precious rental bass a few days ago as I'm moving to Scotland in two weeks. I had it over 4 years and we had great fun together and it was really sad to let her go. I am going to study architecture but I would really like to continue playing in orchestra, though I'am not sure where I will found a new bass. Also, I love this blog! :)

Oh yay canon name criticizing, I have waited this! The name Tino Väinämöinen is a very bad name for finland and as a native I found it rather comical. Tino is a finnish first name but it's not very common, it hasn't been used before 1950's and it's roots are italian. Väinämöinen as a surname is purely ridicilious. Väinämöinen is the main character in our national epic (Kalevala), and to us it just sounds really weird to use that name in anywhere else. Ah it fels good to get this off my chest! :D

Welcome to my blog. if you've got name issues this is the place for you.Yeah, I remember some people from Finland said Timo would be a better version of the name, and that really wouldn't be hard to change.Yeah - I kinda 'get' why it was chosen as his last name maybe, but it's things like that which to outsiders is perfectly okay but to residents /actually/ from the country: no. too weird. (which is why I hate the excuse "but I /like/ how lukas bondevik sounds." no. go away. u suck)
