Sorry I really can’t let this go for real.
The fact that abusers like Jo.De. who are public figures are being punished is some sort of justice, a hope that things might become marginally easier for victims. Victims who didn’t get their justice because they were afraid to or because they couldn’t afford to or because the justice system is broken in every part of the world. This was a small win for them, a very small that is but still. The fact that this abuser, now comes around victim blaming and acting like he’s the misunderstood victim makes my stomach turn, it’s a punch to the gut for every victim of abuse.
I hope the court proves once again that he’s wrong. I hope then his career will end for good.
even though college has been getting more stressful, life has been getting a lot better and i’m a lot happier 🌻
