Also anyway, got any tips how to learn that squishy yummy minbit art style you use?
Here’s some samples of how I concluded Minbit’s style with the ‘lines’, cuz I donno how to explain it (just suddenly got a ‘feel’, then I got it)
You can start with outlining the art from the artist you want to learn from (put the artist’s art under layers and outline it, same as learning anatomy), then try to draw with the experience you’ve learnt. (You’ll get it)
Yoo motivation boost
Soo after my last post I had a good mood and decided to draw people who kept inspiring me to draw at all this whole school year!
I know they won't see it, but that doesn't matter for me at all 0>0
First trio:
Left: CrystalCalico(Youtube)
Middle: Ado(Youtube)
Right: Minbitt(Youtube)
Second trio:
Left: Alan Becker(Youtube)
Middle: FoxTomas(Youtube)
Right: Rodamrix(Youtube)
I couldn't place Gooseworx(Youtube) in trio so I'll place her alone, huh...
I'm not proud of the result for some reasons but I'm gonna upload it anyway because I was drawing it for three days at least
HEY LOOK WHAT I JUST FOUND!
Soooo, I realized I had free will. So I made this drawing of every TV Head character I could think of (including my oc lmao)
How do you get your art to look so fluid??
I honestly don’t know how to fully explain this but I’ll try. Uh from my experience, I mainly focused on accepting imperfections. I think having confident brush strokes makes any art dynamic and fluid as well so I just skipped the sketching stage and jump straight into lineart to save more time. A few messy strokes for your sketch is alright, in my opinion.
Taking inspiration is important as well. Shoutout to minbitt.
Everything I hear makes this crazier
