There is a place

There is a place, close enough where you stand,

But still, you wouldn’t mind it exists.

A bubble covers it like the ozone wraps the earth,

An invisible line which screams directly to eyes enormous differences.

I just arrived, but I’ve been here before

Eyes can fake, memory too

What can’t, it’s your own self.

Walking with no north, with no south

Guiding me just by lights that are not stars.

The noise and the life,

Present everywhere like a flying bug,

Buzzes me constantly, trying to make me mad.

People come and go, are they from here?

This place is so weird, but I know I’ve been here before.

All the colors and all the sounds, why search them away,

When you just can find them right up ahead

Is this true, is this fair?

Or are just the lights blinding me away?

Beards from tall men, long hair from hers

Fancy people whom who knows where they came.

Are they really that pretty,

Is just my mind playing games?

One just can’t help surrender to the pleasure that sight tent.

Their voices, their accents, what a small world we’re in

One just can’t hear all, there’s no such strength.

Admiring their long steps, their shadows when they cross away

Is it really sane? Is it really ok?

The city bright at night, bright at day, I’m so amazed

No matter how dark, I only see white in their stairs.

This place is a painting, this place is a fake

A beautiful sad picture
