Re: MIND-V Kyo interview

Hm, all my life I have been setting challenges against people unbeknownst to them, promising myself I would become better than them in this or that aspect, making myself grow in the process. And of course, I would choose the best in that regard, to make it even harder on myself. A couple of years ago, after meeting Kyo in person, I decided to set my sights on surpassing his confidence. Ironically, he insists that he has only the lowest self-esteem, hah. I totally relate and understand how that actually brings you to improve and do better, but come on, that “I only believe in myself” side is clearly stronger at least in the occasions when we see him, because you cannot do what he does if you do not have a minimum of self-esteem. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts since this is too much irony for me.
