i have a brand new theory that company is REALLY about finding a place to fit within the generation gap

every single couple i think is struggling with that

joanne says it overtly

peter and his "this is when i should be getting born" and bobby "no, we're the enemy, same as their parents"

DAVID trying so hard to get high and be cool and it's not working anymore

i think it's what sarah and harry are dealing with too, even though it's not as explicit, but with the women's magazines and what are they supposed to do with themselves and how will it LOOK to other people

and then amy and paul who have been living together so long and watched the world change around them but STILL they couldn't get married

ray is honestly just?? the sweetest? it brightens my day every time i see them on my dash, and i really enjoy talking to them ooc bc they’re just?? a blast to talk to. and! they just put so much love and energy into emmett and it’s really a joy to see. 

& i gotta say i’m kind of in awe of the sheer number of verses they have bc 1. it’s so fun to see emmett in such hugely different situations & i think ray does such a great job of pulling that off w/o losing emm’s essential character and 2. dude i could not keep up with that many verses myself i’d just lose track of stuff.

gosh i love red too? we chat a lot on skype & she’s just a cool person all around. bonus points for putting up w/ all my long iconing-related monologues & being familiar w/ company AND the wonderland musical tbh :P

and i love how she writes elle so much! everything is so detailed & well thought out and her elle is just such a total (& at times clueless) dork, & it feels so true to the character, and i love it. even when it hurts me.

& speaking of hurting, & these two lovely people, some of the threads they’ve got going are just UNACCEPTABLY SAD & i think that’s great.

太:When it's New Year's, do you make New Year Resolutions and actually commit to them?

I make them every year--mostly about losing weight, joining a club, etc; yet sadly i have not stuck to any of them as of yet.
