Underground tombs in The Valley of the Kings displayed extraordinary carving skills and color. I came to Egypt for the pyramids and left with so much more.. The palaces and tombs were an unexpected surprise and choosing a guide with a PHD in Egyptology was the BEST decision I made on behalf of this trip.
