i like how fanon soul is just kind of canon mind
mind who called heart juno as a way of calming himself down. mind who was scared for his life when heart pulled out a gun but didn’t want to show it so he just went “haha you’re like that guy. from the tally hall song”
giving mind. allof my problems
mind pre transition
i think mind would be deaf/hard of hearing. he’s the hear no evil side so it would have symbolic reasons with heart being see no evil, but also heart shot him with a gun. and it was premeditated so heart probably had hearing protection. and mind Definitely Didn’t,
mind who likes puns because they’re made from connecting things. “i’m sure you really sang your HEART out” - existing phrase that applies to the situation + person he’s saying it to. “who am i to go and cluck and tell” - another existing phrase + they’re singing mucka blucka. very logical in nature
he/it mind
i really think mind’s care for soul is one of the most enjoyable parts of cccc for me. how he’s constantly singing with him, “an oath formed from us both that it would stay whole”, “i merely seek a soul that’s pristine” while it’s clear mind is also doing this for his own benefit. from heart’s perspective he’s corrupting soul and doing this solely (no pun intended) to take control of the vessel, but i don’t think that’s all there is to it.
we see mind struggling with his emotions constantly, shaming heart severely for them while holding the same amount of hatred. i think his relationship with soul shows this perfectly!!!! he shows up to quietly sing spring and a storm with him, only to later make storm and a spring, where we get the most crumbs of their relationship.
and even during this, the implication that he cares about soul more than he’s willing to admit, it’s still implied that soul depends on him. whether that be because of manipulation on mind’s end or his own mental state.
it also shows a more flawed view of soul, with how he has mind take care of him while refusing to even consider the things he has to say (these are from the mind electric) and even implies that mind’s robotic nature is BECAUSE of him.
also soul doesn’t seem to value mind above heart and even seems to favor heart sometimes despite this anyway i’m insane about them
