A Leave of Absense. (Open Thread).
With a cowl over his face, Stein could see Death City in the distance of the arid desert. "Ah. I never thought I'd be so relieved to see this place again." he thought to himself. Professor Stein had decided that it was time to take a leave of absence; to see the world in a different view than under a microscope. He felt he was constrained to the prison that was Death City, so, he packed up a small bag and decided to see what the world had in store for him. No word, no message; he just left in the middle of the night. Under the moonlight, of course. Although, he knew he didn't see the entire world, he had a good grasp of what it had shown him. And it was time to make a return. "This could go one of two ways, I assume: one being that they were worried in some way, or they just assumed that I was in my lab all this time. I hope they think it was the latter. If they knew or thought I was gone for this long, the questions that would be shot at me would be infinite."
With the gates opening in front of him, he thought he should take some back routes to get to his home, so as to not bring any attention to himself on his return.
Gone Camping ~mindthestein
Faryn had only about a week to settle down in Death City before Dr. Stein had contacted her with an interest in herbs in mind. She had been preparing to set out for a few days into the nearby forest, that was a good five or six miles away from the city, to study the plants that grew there. She knew this climate was perfect for the kind of flower she was looking for, so she was bound to find it. If not this camping trip, then maybe the next one.
Faryn had filled her backpack with seven collection jars, five small burlap bags, twine, a ten foot rope, a blanket, a five inch long swiss army knife, dried fruit and vegetables, two pairs of gloves, an extra change of clothes, and the two engraved knives she always brought with her wherever she went. On the way out of the apartment, Faryn stopped by the apothecary one more time before she left to pick up two glass bottles of distilled water to drink and to rinse some of her specimens off before placing them in the burlap bags she packed. After that, she headed towards the front gate where they had decided to meet.
It was early in the morning. Not too early, but early enough so they had time to find a decent place to camp before venturing out to peruse the forest of it's nature-y goods. She was tired, though. Faryn had stayed up all night going through her books to remember what she might find in the area and keep note of what was poisonous and what was helpful. She wrote a list and kept it in her back pocket, just to make sure that she didn't forget it. As she yawned, she leaned back against one of the great doors of the city and pulled her hood off of her head. The morning was chilly, and it didn't help with her sleepy state.
She looked up at the clear morning sky and sighed. It was going to get very hot, and that was one thing she absolutely hated. Sweating meant wet bandages, and wet bandages meant itching, and that meant that she would have to take them off at some point. She sniffed and tried to formulate a plan to keep Stein distracted so she could take them off sometime later. At the same time, she didn't want to think about it. She had done enough planning during the night that her head hurt just thinking about it. It didn't help that the sun was beginning to brightly blaze down on them in a little over thirty to forty minutes.
Faryn closed her eyes and sunk down onto the ground. Her backpack leaned on her and she put her head back against the gate and closed her eyes. It didn't take much for the cool quiet of the morning took it's peaceful toll on her exhausted body. Maybe a quick fifteen minute nap might do the trick. She was always arriving everywhere thirty minutes early just to make sure she was never late, a nap couldn't hurt.

//Oh it's not even a question. I give into the tea all day, errday.
The only real question remaining is:
Kava Kava
or Camomile?
((Stein mun! I see you online! You can't hide from me!))
((I totally waved my hands around at that ask though...like if I could demonstrate the dance I did...you'd think I was nuts.))
✢
Send me a ✢ for my muse's reaction to seeing yours standing on their doorstep soaking wet in the rain.
Tonight it was a damp, cold night. The rain was surely at it’s heaviest tonight. With a yawn she leaned back onto her sofa, it was the only thing to do home alone, to just relax and listen to the storm, to her it was soothing. It was something she always like hearing the patters of the drops hitting the roof and windows.
With in an hour later she heard a knock on the door; had she fallen asleep? Stretching her arms in the air as she walked slowly to the door the camellia weapon turned the knob slowly before poking her head out to see…her professor? Why was he here? and… was he drenched? Oh boy.
“Professor Stein?" was all she could say before raising her finger in the air indicating she would be right back. In a quick dash she went to the washroom and grabbed an extra towel before making her way back to him, handing it to the wet scientist
“Come on in sir. I can make you a nice warm cup of coffee.”
The Demon Meets the Scientist |Amaya and Stein|
The blond walked slowly through abandoned streets of the metropolitan city, her long hair swaying around her shoulders as she went. Her senses took in every detail of her surroundings, the dank, musty air that swirled around her form, the flickering of the street lights above her as they blinked to life for the night. She instinctively shifted her eyes, the action so natural that she almost didn't realize she had done it. Only when her new sight adjusted did she see the man in front of her, abruptly coming to a halt before she could run into him.
+12 came to Wonderland
At first, Alice was certain her mind was playing trick of hallucination on her and that these people were just a figment of her imagination but then she studied them all for moment. How could they all be a figment of her imagination if she had no memory of creating them part of her Wonderland at all? Had she gone mad? No, it was not possible! the madness she endured vanished from her mind not long ago and she could be at ease. “May I ask who you are and why you’re here?” She said finally approaching them.
