I fell for the memories and not reality. My friend told me once you start liking the memories of a someone that means it is not there anymore. I kept trying to tie the string when one kept cutting it. I didn’t want to get lost in the world by myself being unleashed from the arms that once held me because they wanted to. But that was a memory. I need to be ready to love myself, care for myself, and be excited for my own journey to come.
