Imagine Jordan with a huge, not so subtle crush on Scott and Derek (along with a good majority of the town) notices and he gets jelly watching Parrish make puppy eyes at Scott + hug him

Jordan’s just so in awe of Scott, he really can’t help it. He loves the way Scott is so soft and earnest, the way he tries so damn hard. He loves the way he gets all of Scott’s attention when Scott is consulting on a case, the way Scott’s so willing to listen. He likes Scott’s hugs, the way they’re anything but half-assed, firm and warm, and Scott smells really good. It’s easy to lose himself in a daze when Scott’s around. 

Of course, Jordan noticed whatever the thing is between Derek and Scott, he’d have to be blind not to notice the way they gravitate towards each other. But the thing is, Derek and Scott aren’t together. Whether it’s because they’re both stubborn or just oblivious, Jordan has no idea. They keep insisting that they’re friends while hanging out all the time and flirting in outrageous ways, and it’s a little painful to watch, they’re that into each other. 

Jordan would leave it, but he really likes Scott too, more than he likes most people. So he tries. He invites Scott out and drops in on Scott at work, bringing him coffee or lunch, he texts Scott -- stupid questions about supernatural cases or silly things he sees. Basically every dog he sees, he takes a picture to send to Scott. 

Derek notices. Jordan notices Derek noticing. But he’s not doing anything wrong, Scott isn’t spoken for. It probably starts a little lowkey competition between them, and suddenly Derek’s starting to step up, be more obvious, and Jordan is sincerely worried because he sees the way Scott looks at Derek and Jordan doesn’t think he can compete. 

But, he doesn’t have to. Scott’s less oblivious than they think he is. He cuts the shit and asks them both out on a date, at the same time. Jordan sits there across from them at the restaurant and feels a foot hook around each of his ankles, both Derek and Scott’s cheeks turning a little pink, smiles edging around their mouths, and he thinks the three of themmight work out after all.

dear alex how about we think about stiles giving scott the keys to his jeep thinking he'd be Good And Responsible with his baby and that night he sees the light is still on in his jeep and sprawled on the back seat are derek and scott (being very much Not Good And Responsible)

They’re already past the point of interruption. The windows are fogged up Titanic style, and there are noises coming from both of them - gasping and moaning and ‘fuck Scott’ - fuck Scott is right, because Stiles is going to kill him. Honestly, where does Scott get off just using the Jeep for his own personal enjoyment.  

(He gets off on Stiles’ seats, Stiles reminds himself viciously.)

They shouldn’t even be able to fit back there, but Derek’s extremely flexible thanks to yoga (Stiles has seen him doing yoga in tiny booty shorts, what a sight, honestly) and Scott slots on his lap perfectly and - Stiles isn’t thinking about it, he’s not. He’s pissed and not thinking about them getting each other off in his Jeep.

He must look ridiculous, leaning against the front of the Jeep while it rocks in time with their… whatever they’re doing, but he’s not going to pass up the opportunity to yell at them when they both stumble out. 

Somewhere along the way, the moans go from ‘oh Derek’ to ‘oh Stiles’, loud and breathy for Stiles to hear. His face heats up as they both start groaning his name. He’s paying attention to his phone, his phone. He’s mad, okay, angry as hell. 

It doesn’t take too long for them to go silent and Stiles can practically feel their afterglow from outside the Jeep, it’s fucking terrible. When the doors finally pop open, they both spill out with the most disgustingly smug looks on their faces, disheveled and red mouthed and well-fucked.

“You better not have gotten jizz on the seats,” Stiles threatens, shoving Scott against the side of the Jeep so he can wiggle his keys out Scott’s pocket. “I’m going to kill you both.”

“Aw baby, you’re just mad the backseat doesn’t fit all three of us,” Derek says, slotting against his back, sandwiching Stiles between him and Scott. Scott grins at him in that softly mischievous way of his, and kisses him, fingers hooking in Stiles’ belt loops.

“I’ve always wanted to try semi-public sex,” Stiles chokes out, as Derek’s hand sneaks up his shirt. They won’t get arrested. Hopefully.

Mchaleinski + 38! (Bonus points if Derek's the one doing the swooning :D)

Derek wakes up in the hospital. White tile, white ceiling, too-thin blanket over top of him. The beep of monitors is on his right, the echo of foot steps and voices as the nurses make their rounds. The smell of smoke is still clogging up his nostrils, choking him. His whole body is sore in a way that’s not fun. 

“Right on time,” someone says, coming into the room. It’s a nurse in floral patterned scrubs, giving him a soft smile. Derek groans in response as they take his vitals, small hands quickly strapping the blood pressure cuff on him, writing down his pulse. 

“How do you feel?” they ask. “You inhaled a lot of smoke. There’s some second hand burns on your arms. You’re lucky that they pulled you out when they did.”

“I’m okay,” Derek lies. He’s close to panicking, trying not to think about the fire. 

“That’s good,” the nurse says, smiling. It’s a really nice smile. “I just gave you another dose of pain killers. I’m Scott, I’ll be taking care of you until shift change okay?”

“Okay,” Derek says. 

“Are you okay with getting visitors?” Scott asks. It feels like they’re hovering. “Your family was by, but, uh. You have someone else who wants to see you.”

“Sure,” Derek says, blinking, trying to think about anyone who would insist on seeing him as Scott disappears into the hall. He comes back with Stiles Stilinski trailing behind him. 

“Stiles?”

“You’re an idiot,” Stiles says, watching him. He puts his hand on Derek’s ankle. It’s reassuring. “It was a cat, Derek. A cat.”

“I’m fine,” Derek says, eyes darting between Stiles and Scott. Scott looks like they’re stifling a grin, making themself busy with the chart in their hands. Derek doesn’t know why they’re still in the room.

“You fainted,” Stiles says, throwing his hands up. Derek gets a better look at him, the obvious exhaustion on his face. “– Straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention you didn’t have to go to such extremes.”

“I didn’t rescue kittens from a burning building to get your attention, Stiles,” Derek says. What an absurd idea. Stiles looks a little frantic, though, so he wants to be reassuring. “I’m glad it worked though.”

“If you wanted to go on a date, you could have just asked,” Scott says, sagely. Derek blinks at them, confused. “Sorry, not my business.”

“I mean, it’s tangentially your business,” Stiles mutters, shooting Scott a grin.

“I’m sorry,” Derek says, still muddied. It might be the pain killers, but he feels like he’s missing something. “Do you two know each other?”

“Oh god,” Scott says, as Stiles bursts out laughing.

“Oh no.”

“’Oh no’ is right,” Scott replies, hitting Stiles with his clipboard. “I’m Scott. Scott McCall, I’m –”

“Stiles’ lovefriend,” Derek says, face heating up in mortification. 

“I thought you said something!” Stiles says, gesturing wildly.

“I told him my name, Stiles,” Scott says, patiently. “I took his vitals, because that’s my job. It’s not my job to tell him that I’m your lovefriend.”

“Derek, this is Scott,” Stiles says, sighing, gesturing between them. The whole situation gets more funny, as Stiles gets more red. “Scott, this is Derek. Lovefriend, crush, crush, lovefriend.”

“You have a crush on me?” Derek asks, eyes widening. Stiles’ mouth drops open and Scott bursts out laughing.

“You’re right Stiles, he’s perfect,” Scott says, pressing a kiss to Stiles’ cheek. “I have more rounds, I’ll be back.”

“They’re cute,” Derek says, as soon as Scott is out of the room. Stiles grins at him, pleased, and sits at the end of the bed, taking his hand. 

“I’m glad you think so. I think you two would get along.”

They look at each other for a minute longer. Derek wants to tell Stiles to get some sleep, to maybe take a shower because he’s still got a little soot at his hairline. He doesn’t know how long it’s been since the fire, since Stiles and the crew pulled him out, but Stiles has probably been sitting outside the hospital room the whole time.

“So, about that date,” Stiles says, before Derek can say any of that. Derek laughs, squeezing his hand tightly. The kittens were worth it.

consider your ot3(s) at a crosswalk. which one waits patiently for the light to change, which one mashes the button, and which one makes a run for it?

I feel like Derek waits, Scott button mashes, Stiles runs, but lbr, Derek is irritated with how rowdy Stiles and Scott are being so he’s mashing the button while Stiles playfully pretends like he’s going to push Scott into the street, “real life Frogger, Scott! Put those wolf powers to good use!” When the coast is clear, Stiles jets across and Scott growls, chasing after him. Derek has no choice but to follow, and when they get to the other side, Stiles and Scott are trying to put each other in a headlock while Derek rolls his eyes and pretends he’s not amused by his boys.

Okay so mchaleinski/Sterek. What pet names wiuld they use for eachother? Why?

Honestly, pet names are so so hard for me to figure out, but I’LL TRY OKAY.

I think Stiles would be completely ridiculous in his pet names and try to come up with even better ones to call them, but it’s so inconsistent that they end up not knowing who he’s trying to address. They answer to everything, including such hits as: “love muffin” and “dimple butt” (no seriously, anything said with a gross inflection can be a pet name to Stiles).

Scott is more tradition. “Babe”, “baby” – That type of thing.

I think Derek is really reserved in his use of pet names. He only uses them when he’s being truly sappy. Beyond belief sappy. Like, when he’s too vulnerable to even use their names, just “babe” with a soft look in his eyes that makes Scott and Stiles ache. 

And, okay, is this weird, but. Derek referring to them as “the boys”, even when they’re grown as fuck and all own a house together. The sheriff calls to schedule a dinner and Derek says he has to check with the boys or Parrish runs into him at the supermarket and asks about their living arrangement and Derek says that everything is great at home with the boys, a hundred percent genuine even with the unamused look on his face. Of course, everyone knows what he’s talking about, because Scott and Stiles are definitely his boys.
