Fic Round Up 2019

It was a slow year for me for the most part, but for these last couple of months, I really cranked out a lot of words. I came into the last two months with just 15,161 words written for the full year, ended up writing 37,086 words between November and December for a total of 52,247 for the year end total! I’m proud of myself that I was able to push myself like this and here’s hoping I keep this energy coming into 2020.

Whispers in the Night (Sceterek | Voyeur!Peter | 1.8k | E | Complete) While trying to sleep at Derek’s loft, Peter hears something very interesting as Derek and Scott arrive.

It Came Inside Me (Scerek | High School AU | 2.8k | E | Complete) Scott and Stiles are ready to have a movie night of bad alien movies until Derek unexpectedly joins them. While starting off as innocent as can be, Derek and Scott can’t help but let their hormones take over. The only problem is that they have to be as quiet as possible as Stiles is less than three feet away from them.

My Brother’s Best Friend (Scerrish | High School AU | 4.7k | E | Complete) He had been waiting for this moment all week and now all of his patience was paying off. Derek Hale, the popular senior basketball jock, was going to take geeky little freshman Scott McCall’s virginity.

As he plots out his next scheme, he meets Peter Hale, a former nemesis of the McCall Pack, who gives him an enticing offer: a mysterious tablet with strange technology he has no knowledge of that is able to control other lifeforms, most especially the True Alpha himself, Scott McCall.

Mr. Right Now and Mr. Wrong Number (Sceorek | College FWB AU | 12.9k~ | E | WIP) Scott is feeling extra horny one night, so he decides to sext his casual fuck buddy Theo a photo of his spread ass. He even took an extra step and sent a really hot video of him playing with his hole. The problem? When Scott later meets up with Theo to hook-up in person this time, he realizes that Theo never got any of his photos, which means that Scott sent them to the wrong phone number!

Your Body Is a Work of Art (Scerek | Painter!Derek AU | 12.5k~ | E | WIP) Scott is dragged out to an art gallery showing by his best friend where he has the dullest time of his life until he meets a sexy, handsome stranger. After an amazing night of sex, Scott finds out that the man he slept with is a big time painter on-the-rise.

Jordan’s just so in awe of Scott, he really can’t help it. He loves the way Scott is so soft and earnest, the way he tries so damn hard. He loves the way he gets all of Scott’s attention when Scott is consulting on a case, the way Scott’s so willing to listen. He likes Scott’s hugs, the way they’re anything but half-assed, firm and warm, and Scott smells really good. It’s easy to lose himself in a daze when Scott’s around. 

Of course, Jordan noticed whatever the thing is between Derek and Scott, he’d have to be blind not to notice the way they gravitate towards each other. But the thing is, Derek and Scott aren’t together. Whether it’s because they’re both stubborn or just oblivious, Jordan has no idea. They keep insisting that they’re friends while hanging out all the time and flirting in outrageous ways, and it’s a little painful to watch, they’re that into each other. 

Jordan would leave it, but he really likes Scott too, more than he likes most people. So he tries. He invites Scott out and drops in on Scott at work, bringing him coffee or lunch, he texts Scott -- stupid questions about supernatural cases or silly things he sees. Basically every dog he sees, he takes a picture to send to Scott. 

Derek notices. Jordan notices Derek noticing. But he’s not doing anything wrong, Scott isn’t spoken for. It probably starts a little lowkey competition between them, and suddenly Derek’s starting to step up, be more obvious, and Jordan is sincerely worried because he sees the way Scott looks at Derek and Jordan doesn’t think he can compete. 

But, he doesn’t have to. Scott’s less oblivious than they think he is. He cuts the shit and asks them both out on a date, at the same time. Jordan sits there across from them at the restaurant and feels a foot hook around each of his ankles, both Derek and Scott’s cheeks turning a little pink, smiles edging around their mouths, and he thinks the three of themmight work out after all.
