Day twelve; Your relationship with your parents.
I have four parents so I'm going to explain my relationship with each.
My mom: My mom is my best friend. She's my guiding light, my shoulder to cry on, my rock when I'm lost. She is everything. She single-handedly raised me to be the woman that I am today. She's the one who keeps me going when I feel like I just want to give up. She's always been so understanding & just wants what's best for me. She's my cheer leading squad when no one else is rooting for me. So I guess you could say we're close, but most people do not understand the relationship I have with my mom & how deep our mother/daughter bond goes.
My step dad: Even though he's only been in my life for 3 1/2 years, he has taken up so much room in my heart. He listens to me when I need to talk, he guides me when I need advice. He understands some of the darkest parts of me. He's become a very big father figure in my life & has loved me like I was his own. Him & I are super close & we only get closer with time.
My dad: My dad & I were not very close while I was growing up. I had these ideals of what a father should be & he had some ideals of what his daughter should be. As I've grown up we both did not fit those ideals for one another, & so my father has taught me how to accept people for who they truly are & even if they don't love you the way you want them to or show you they love you in the way you want them to, it doesn't mean that they don't love you at all. You have to see the beauty of them in their faults but always know that you don't always fit their ideals either. My father & I are close now, & that's all that really matters. He's taught me so much about myself, people, & about what unconditional love means.
My step mom: Her & I are more like sisters. I know that I can tell her things & even if she does share them with my dad, she always has my back. She's always helps me when I need it, & she's taken my attitude like a champ. I love her to pieces & she truly is the best thing to ever happen to my dad.
Hi. Just wanted to remind you all that you're wonderfully awesome, carrying people and I love you all bunches :D
I Love You All Dearly
Have an exceedingly above average day and smile because your happiness makes others (including me) happy.
