That was the year I went ahead and bought minecraft. I had watched the initial videos FarFromSubtle had put out, and I knew this game was definitely for me. I bought it in early Beta, and I launched into a love affair almost immediately. These are pictures of the first house I ever built in Minecraft. A giant five-story cobblebox. Each floor had a theme, Entertainment, Relaxation, Meditation, Training Facility and Solarium. My first skin in Minecraft was that of Gambit of the Xmen, so I got into calling everything "Gambit's ____" so this home was "Gambit's Mutant Mansion". There isn't much to this post, its sort of just a loveletter to the game I've probably put more hours into than any other. Its been four years and I still love it, even if I don't play it as constantly as I used to. I love this game, and I have since joined FarFromSubtle's Videogames Awesome Minecraft Awesome Turbo Server (ain't that a mouthful!) and have met so many awesome people through that and have found a wonderful community to build with, on a completely 100% legit/nocheat server. So thats all really. I just love this game and thought I'd share with you what an awful, awful builder I used to be~! Hah!

You can see in one of the pictures the first dog I ever had in his special Dog-Cave. And yes, his name is Radagast. And yes, this was way before the Hobbit films! ;)
