need my laptop so i can change my theme that theme is so epic its perfect
Finished one of these projects (pictures to come!), started on the background of the other, then realized I had missed one last friend.
He lives right nearby me, so we used to carpool to and from school. Eight hours of a car trip is enough time to really get to know someone, I’ve discovered! This friend is really creative. He wants to become a video game designer, and it’s easy to tell why and how successful he’ll be. He’s introduced me to some really cool stuff, and is super enthusiastic about the things he loves. He’s a great guy who I sincerely enjoy hanging out with.
I mentioned in the project goals that I would probably be adding more friends. Well, here we are, with two more projects. These are for two people that I work with on that puzzle game mentioned above. There’s a bit of an inside joke involved that I won’t go into here which went into the creation of their projects!
The first is for an amazing man who dressed up as Dionysus for Halloween, to match with a group costume of Greek gods. He’s warm, funny, and a delight to work with. At one point, we got drunk and just talked about the game we’re planning for about three hours. We’ve only been planning together for a bout a year, but he’s crafty as hell and wonderful at world building. Dionysus is perfect for him, and since then I can’t stop associating him with the color purple.
The other one is for the french horn major’s boyfriend, who I’ve been planning with for three years now. He’s a big video game enthusiast, and when I sit with him at lunch something Final Fantasy or Minecraft related inevitably comes up. He’s very self deprecating, both in his academic life and when we plan together, despite the fact that he basically created the linchpin for the game last year and is wonderful at world building and game creation. The lighter fairy on his needlepoint is modeled on his girlfriend!
Both of these come from a pintrest that I can’t seem to find now, unfortunately. They will both be bookmarks when they are finished.
