i love honse
time to get some horse data! or, specifically...mule. I am breeding for the best mule so the data is going to lean towards getting the best results for that. look at my spread sheet!!!
letters for each thing! i need to minimize it for name tags and for easily naming them on the sheet, because its easy to ID them by color but also they repeat a lot.
"waiting" means all the horses and donkeys who are sitting around, unrelated to the current family. once the breeders change, all that family there will go over there (or in cull).
all these guys will get name tags for the most part. the ones i know are bad right off the bat will likely get tossed immediately but once who are candidates for better stats will be kept, because breed for a good mule will take... a lot of work that has to rely on a few key horses and donkeys.
here's one of the mules, for example! i have another rn with 8.2sp and 2.5jmp. however for horses... the acronym will include colors instead. "chestnut coat with black saddle marking" would end up being CBS [speed+jump number] for example.
*noted before, donkeys all come with a base stat of about 7.6 speed and 1.6 jump when naturally spawned. breeding them will have...minuscule results, so at the moment i dont have them even listed on the sheet until i see what i can do about them lol.
also i am doing this in a normal survival world so you may question why or how i am categorizing/organizing them. i have some pens for certain speeds and jumps but i soon realized its better i track them in a sheet and attempt to name them properly. bc otherwise? id have to mount every horse every time to test their stats. no way. so naming based on stats is a must especially as i see myself breeding a TON bc this is mostly one sided to get a good mule.
Finishing up the last details of this town now, I'm feeling nostalgic already!
