the day i learned silverfish were an actual animal and not just a Minecraft Thing was the day i first felt life ruining dread.

Silverfish can grow up to 18 inches and make their homes in caves and abandoned mineshafts. They have a corrosive spit that helps them burrow into tough material like rock, and their powerful jaws can process everything from hardwood to bone.
