Ever wanted to share your single player Minecraft world? (Vanilla or Modded)
Hey Minecraft players! Have you ever had a single player world that you were really proud of? Have you ever built something in SSP that you wished you had built in SMP? Have you ever felt too intimidated by all the awesome builds other people post on planetminecraft to be able to post your own world?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, I've got the blog for you!
I would set up a system where if people were interested in the screenshots, they could download the world and play/build in it. Then after other people have played on it, they would send me a link to that new world and tell me who was the original creator. I would then reblog the original with a download link to the "recycled" version.
It'll be fun to see what people can build out of what you had so far! You don't have to worry if your building skills are not up to par with others, it would still be fun to see what people do with your world.
It would be preferable if the download link was to a public Google Drive file. I would accept vanilla AND modded worlds, as long as the modded worlds are from some sort of launcher (ie FTB, Tekkit, ATLauncher, etc.) With the link, you should include what version of Minecraft it is, and if it is modded, what launcher & modpack.
The only limitations to posts would be this: I would not post maps that are, for example, comprised of a flat world with a single sign reading "you suck". I would also not post recycled maps where person had destroyed the map.
So what do you guys think? Would this be fun? Would you participate?
