I made Techno’s headcanon outfits through the “story”. If you want my explanation to each one it’s under the cut.
Antarctic Empire - Techno had obviously diamond armor. It needed to be more bulkier since diamond can’t be really melted as other ores. Techno also has emeralds on his crown, sword and cape clip because he had so many emeralds due to his villager thingy. His whole look mostly the crown and sword is inspired by the dwarves from hobbit. I have this vibe from Techno since he uses a brute force but at the same time he is persistent when he sets his mind on something.
The Potato war - He spent a long time on the potato field so I feel like his hair started to grow and he was too busy with his potatoes than to cut his hair. I still wanted to keep the medieval style so he has a nice leather vest.
Dream smp season 1 - I feel like Techno was celebrating his win of the war when Tommy first asked him to help him with the revolution. Over the span of few weeks Techno was able to get his crazy riches and he was feared which is why he only wore his armor during battles. He let his hair grow longer but now took better care of them and braid them in a braid so they don’t get in a way when he’s fighting.
Season 2 - or you can call it the exile? maybe.. But yeah. After the war Techno decided to leave his old place behind and settle in cold biome which is why he used the fur in his cape to make long warm vest and boots. His netherite sword has “Orphan obliterator” carved on the blade in dwarf runes. His hair have been cut of by himself with a sword which is why they are messy. He doesn’t take care of them at all so his brown roots are peaking through. (It’s up to you to decided if he otherwise is dying his hair or how it works). Since long hair symbolize power and strength I feel like he cut the hair also because he lost his friends and now lives alone, he doesn’t need to fight anymore. His crown is damaged too, some of the pearls and crystals fell off and he doesn’t care about repairing it.
The Netherite armor - I’m really proud of this one. The helmet is pig shaped. The whole armor is less bulky than you would expect since Techno moves more and he needs to be quick even with armor. I feel like Philza on the other hand would have paladin type armor. His double sided axe also has runes on it that read “Axe of peace.”
