I spent like 30 hours on the Timelapse in the first minute of this video.
I hope you like it!
Big Giant Mountain
I made a giant mountain range with a little fjord watery valley.
I did all the sides, so that it looks good from every angle and no matter how you approach the base.
I'm very happy with the valley and the little waterfall.
This was so much work. It literally took 6 months to build from start to finish. At least. There may well've been a bit of time in the middle where I wasn't working on it.
Anyway, the video for it can be found below, I condensed all that work into a 20 minute timelapse; prehaps I will also make a shorter version!
This was built on the cakejumper community minecraft server. You can, in fact, see my neighbour's base in some of these images - the little church is not mine.
Please Enjoy!

Wait you build ships on the regular? Do you have any videos helping with the design process, I always want to build ships but can't ever seem to make it work.
I literally just finished planning the next one I'll build in an upcoming video!! And I've been wanting to do a tutorial on tall ships in minecraft for ages now, but every time I try to get that explained, I'm hit with this awful wave of imposter syndrome. The ship builders in minecraft spaces are really talented and a lot of them build bigger and prettier than I do, so it feels like my own skills are kinda inadequate.
By the same logic I had plans to make a video on color theory in minecraft for ages, but I don't have much in the way of education so it feels wrong to just be there telling people stuff from the position of authority. I guess I could always do a block-by-block tutorial, but I like the ones that explain broader ideas and principles instead, actually teaching stuff rather than fostering a reliance. Both have their place, I'm just far more entertained by the other kind.
In the meantime, I guess my advice would be "check out blueprints of ships you like, decide on the layout you're going for before you start, but don't be afraid to deviate as long as it looks right to you". There is a certain logic to the anatomy of a vessel but you really can't beat just stuff that looks nice. Also be confident about bringing in materials that seem counter-intuitive into the build. Concrete and colored clay for accents? sure. Sandstone stairs and slabs for windows? Sign me up! My latest one had basalt for saiils. It's a nice gloomy grey, looks awesome ^_^

I made two warehouses!
One is used to load up logs onto boats which then take them away, while the bigger one is used to store logs as they come in from the tree farms.
Both are the same industrial-esque style that the smeltery was, red brick industrial buildings with that slanted roof. The shader makes the glow lichen way more obvious unfortunatly, but it keeps the roof subtly lit.
I did that batch of pine trees custom too! But then I felt the need to actually stop and put this video out. Maybe more big custom trees are in my future.
In this episode of The Beta Clubhouse Series. Finishing the rest of the first part of the tree farm near Retro Hills Town. Now the branch tree is finished. The rest of the time will be off-camera for doing tweaks. Enjoy this video.
