1) Herobrine has excellent night vision and normal vision. If his eyes are glowing, it means he is gaining strength. Moroko, who gives him this divine power, takes away all his emotions in return for strength and power.

2) About Moroko itself: it is a spirit that inhabits the body of a human or other being, giving him divine power and Immortality in return for the weak emotions that he absorbs. Since Herobrine can no longer live without divine power, if he gives up on Moroko, he will weaken and continue to die painfully.
