The way my Spacesuited Persona returns from space, is by using ‘The Disk’.

‘The Disk’ is a 9 foot diameter Heat Shield, with a cavity in the back for the backpack of a GM-EAS EVA suit to clip into. A hand held, disposable thruster pack is used to push the User out of orbit. The EAS suit is used to keep the User and Disk at the correct heading. The Disk protects the user from Reentry heating. Once speed and altitude have been reduced to proper values, the Disk is released and the User lands via parachute.

This something I came up with and started to write a story featuring, but I couldn't figure out how to write the climax. So the character and story was shelved. 

I call it Will. It’s a crudely repaired and reanimated body of an OB Mafia grunt. I never came up with who repaired it, or why they did. It was meant to be a sort of metaphor for Roger confronting the fact that he did kill those three grunts in Halt. I never could think of a good confrontation sequence so now Will remain merely a concept.
