I imagine it’s very very dangerous and damn near irreparable if an eridian “cracks” or “breaks” a part of them. So I’m just thinking about rocky being so so confused and concerned when you pop your back and neck in front of him for the first time. He’s just standing there, mortified and frozen for just a bit before losing his mind. like surely this squishy space blob, who is not nearly as efficiently built as me, is about to die, oh god, they’ve broken themselves, oh god fragile bones broken, bones broken stabbing squishy human organs oh god bad bad bad
GOD so true anon. The first time you sit back in your chair from hunching over a lab bench for hours and crack your knuckles rocky freaks the fuck out and only calms down when you literally sit in front of him and let him tap around so he can hear your bodily structure better to assure him that nothing is actually broken. even still he makes grumbling noises every time he hears you do it and tells you how weird humans are for just being able to make awful cracking noises at will
