I feel so bad

I used to help out with the kids ministry at my church and I loved it to death. Right about  the time I left for school I "stopped receiving emails" for the Leader. I figured that he just knew that I started school and stopped sending me emails and moved on. I missed it every Sunday when I didn't get to go and felt weird stopping by to see if they needed help. When I switched school, I guess that I stopped forwarding my emails automatically although I don't really remember doing this it's not uncharacteristically of me.  I had been getting emails this whole time and so many opportunities that I would have loved to reach out to the kids. Out of all the craziness that they are I loved them and I loved being there for them. I just had to write a very strange email to the main guy about this situation. I truly sounds fake and like I just copped out and couldn't even tell him that I didn't want to do it anymore, when in reality I was just itching to get back to doing it. Poop I always try to avoid these situations because I truly cant handle them.
