so basically yk the numbers from minesweeper? yeah those are people now, navigating a bomb-ridden plain to try and find 8. for some reason idk the motives arent set in stone yet

anyways the main conflict comes from 8, the one who set up all these mines, and their main enemy. who's "they"? well, the other numbers!

the main group consists of 1 (cody) 2 (duet and arlo) and 3 (mie), though 4 (delta) and 5 (enu) join sometimes. 6 (rokuro) and 7 (september) are later additions to the gang, and IF YOU MAKE ANY 67 JOKES I KILL YOU ON THE SPOT.

also they all have powers. why? because why not listen this was made by 2 minesweeperrotted teenagers what were you expecting

cody - youngest of the group, power is to sense large safe areas. gets picked on by mie for not having a more agressive power

duet & arlo - twins! they have the power of mitosis, basically if one gets blown up then the other can split and reform them! protective of cody, though duet is more aggressive in her care

mie - oldest, power is basically the opposite of cody's: he can sense mine-dense areas, though he might not know exactly where the bombs are. makes flags for the group

delta - power: gambling??? they know where 3/4 bombs surrounding them are, though they don't share this information at first. they aren't very trusted, as they're flightly and don't say which side they're on.

enu - 8s mosst loyal knight... at least before his walls start breaking down. calls 8 "my lord" thing, almost makes you wonder if he's indebted to 8 somehow. also his power is to find rows of mines

rokuro - a bit younger than cody! found wandering the minefields near 8's base, she can come off as a bit rude, though is ultimately a good kid. she has (had?) an older sister, though she can't quite remember what she looked like. september feels strangely familiar. can locate groups of mines (think a 4x4 area or larger)

september - wracked with guilt! don't have a power for her yet, though she used to be part of 8's army she left not long before joining the others. thinks rokuro hates her for leaving

8 - don't have much for this guy actually. huh.

also 9 is jesus dont ask questions
