Connecting your Google Analytics account
Once you’ve integrating MineWhat into your store, the major steps of the installation are complete. In addition to these there are a couple of optional steps, which will enable us to add extra value to your account. The first one of these is to connect your GA account to MineWhat. To do so….
Simply click on the the “Connect GA” button, allow access, choose the right profile and you are done.
You can also choose to do this step later.
Adding a product feed.
In addition to clickstream and transactional data from your website, MineWhat also collects product related information like name, brands, tags etc...and connect the two. To ensure this goes on seamlessly we recommend clients to upload a product feed.
The feed can be uploaded in many formats including CSV, TXT, XLS, Json, XML and more.
Once you are on the “Import Feed” tab, you’ll see a screen like the one below.
Choose the appropriate option and import your feed.
Once you’ve done so, the system will go through your file and see if it has all the mandatory fields included.
You will also have to verify the system’s mapping of the fields.
Once that is complete, MineWhat will begin to process the feed you’ve imported. Depending on the volume of data contained in the field, this could take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour.
If you don’t have a feed in place you can also choose to let MineWhat crawl your website for product information.
After the feed is successfully set up the integration process is complete.
