I’ve never been asked about my IG before, but honestly I’m not very active, much like Facebook. I have about a handful of posts (95% mini bib) and when it’s not about my wee one, it’s political-related commentary. Nothing terribly amusing. I’m honestly pretty boring, my recent posts have been my own quarantine crafts for bib-let or a pic of her drawing. You know that picture of an otter holding her tiny baby otter like “look at dis cute baby I made”, that’s pretty much my social media (outside of here)😂 Have some genuine bib art to make you smile though. Fun fact: quarantine has brought out her inner Banksy, thankfully her chosen medium is chalk. We call it “Puffin sans fluffin” guarding her door outside her bedroom 🐧

Hi love ,how are you doing ? Hope you are doing well. Are you still in quarantine, j doubt I will leave the house for the next 2 months . Apparently our quarantine will last the year. Restrictions will ease but I doubt that will also happen.. ah! Hope u and ur family and friends are well❤🤍 -❄🔥

Hi hun, I’m doing ok. My area is mostly still under quarantine. I live in the west coast in the US and my state actually went into lockdown right after bib-lets 5th bday. Hubs and I both took the day off work to celebrate with her, only to find out we wouldn’t be going back into either of our offices again except to grab our laptops. We’re both very lucky and are still working. I’m a paralegal so I can work remotely without issue.

For now, our days are filled with hubs chasing the bib-let around the house while I avoid the video option on all my Zoom calls and do voice only whenever possible 🤷🏻‍♀️ Its been fun. I think of myself as a closet-introvert so I’m fine and dandy chilling at home!

The best part about my time at home was being there when mini-bib lost her first tooth ❤️ Interesting note: it’s apparently kinda scary for your teeth to start wobbling loose from your mouth the very first time, who knew, 😉 But, we made it exciting so she had a good experience and hopefully some fun memories! 🧚‍♀️

I hope everyone is doing well and abiding by social distancing, even as places begin to reopen. I know it’s hard, especially mentally, but take care of yourselves and each other. Which includes making the minor sacrifices of face masks and quarantine whenever possible ✌️ Ok, I’m off my soapbox. Hang in there guys, it’ll get better ❤️

Oh anon, you made me laugh so much when you sent this! I didn’t think it had been that long but now I’m reconsidering 🤪

I’m still slightly lamenting the plans I had last week for writing and not getting to any of it. My tiny human needed endless snuggles. It was Thanksgiving and I was off work last Friday. But then mini-Bib, my feisty little bib-let got the flu. On Thanksgiving morning😕. Fever and all😫. She’s much better now, but by Sunday my hubs and I had gotten it too. And while bib-let normally loves to hang out and play with dad, she made it quite clear that only mommy would be tolerated while she was in her sick state. PSA: get your flu shots early, kids! Hubs and I now walk around comparing symptoms and suffering like badges of honor.

But I’ll try to get cracking on finish up some drafts of HCs that I have in the works, and updating some of my series stuff too.

I hope bibby is better now, being sick is such a strain on small children 😢 The flu season is a b***ch I should go to university but either I am sick or the teachers xD (not that my lazy ass is complaining)

She’s all better now thankfully! Hubs and I are too, but man do I miss being sick when you’re a kid! Just sleep and watch Wreck-It Ralph, Toy Story 4, and Frozen (back to back to back to back, lol). Then get ALL the snuggles!! 🥰

Ah, university germs! My freshman year at university, I was sick literally all of winter term. I lived in the dorms and it was just an absolute germ factory. I hope you stay cold and flu free sweetie!

I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything lately. I’m working on HCs but I haven’t been super happy with my fics lately. None of my muses are being cooperative in that department. How dare they!?

I should have some HC’s for you later today. Once I get them edited and in some kind of shape I find tolerable!

My hubs and baby bib are doing great. Mini-Bib is her usual self, 5% sweet and 95% mischief and chaos. The sass and cheek that kid gives at 4 is unreal. Have a sassy bib-let story to laugh at while I finish my other HCs:

She recently discovered dusting and loves it, its adorable. We have a decorative glass shelf in the corner where I have tons of her pictures. She tips over her baby chair and starts pulling cushions off the couch and stacking them in a precarious manner so she can climb on and reach the shelves.

Me: *mumbling an inner thought out loud while I watch her build her tower*: This is not a good idea.

Baby-Bib: *dead. fucking. serious. voice* No, its a great idea.

Fam, it didn’t even take her half a second to come back with that. And in case you’re wondering, she’s fine. Clearly, I need to start prepping now for her teenage years 🤦🏻‍♀️😆

I’ve been calling your kids “Bib-lets”

Um, that’s freaking adorable. I can’t even handle it. Mini-BiB and BiB-let, it’s all too cute. They all fit my tiny human perfectly.

Currently there’s only one BiB-let ruling the roost at our nest. She is equal parts my precious princess and ferocious, four year old warrior. I love every bit of it. But, if you so choose to fan the flames of independence, prepare yourselves. A direct exchange when she had just turned into a three-nager:

Me:*tells her not to do something*

3yo:*blatantly ignores me*

Me: “Mini-BiB…” *my best faux-stern voice*

3yo: Why are you still talking?!

I’m the worst and always crack up laughing too. I can’t help myself. It’s hilarious.

I’ve had a great day with my fam, particularly my lil mini-BiB who is the entire reason I can call myself a mama in the first place!

Last year she spilled the beans to me with my gift. She was freshly three and it was precious. I really love lavender (flowers in general, I’m just horrible at keeping them alive), so my MiL bought lavender for mini-BiB to give me. The entire day I asked her if she knew that it was Mother’s Day and she decided to call it lavender day instead. It was adorbs but the secret was out.

This year, my mom bought the three of us matching bracelets. They’re just too cute for words!
