I forgot to post this last night but I wanted to show the fun I had finally assembling this nendo doll I've had for a while

Now the first thing I didn't realize when I started this was that it was packaged like an actual doll.

I don't know why it surprised me so much seeing the base model without any of the clothes on but the fun I had with subsequently putting it together made me kind of forget this minor thing.

It shocked me how much fun this was, I don't know why but I think it was because of how cute all the little clothing articles were, they were so detailed for how exceedingly tiny they were and it made me feel really appreciatively of the doll.

All in all this was a strangely delightful little experience, I'm looking forward to getting more nendo dolls in the future :)

Garu could have dropped Pucca at any given moment to let her out of his arms- but nooope. Not at all. He doesn't want to hold her, sure, because he's not that friendly to physical affection, especially in public and with Pucca's clinginess, I'm sure he just wanted to catch some fish and be close to his fellow friends.

But this is a rare, incredibly generous moment Garu has with Pucca.

In the original he would have just dropped her, pushed her away, or even made a big point to leave him ALONE by blatantly helping others out to get rid of Pucca. That's not nice yet he's not there to be nice to Pucca when his whole life is based on a different mission: be an introvert and be alone. Not Pucca. Pucca's love is soft to Garu and his heart has a good mindset, but that doesn't make him an actually nice person.

In my theory, Garu is a hidden villain and chose his lifestyle now because he knows he can be an asshole without self control. Now, Pucca is annoying to a fault except when she's always being kind, loving and downright abrasive to her affectionate efforts, Garu feels unsure how to handle the spotlight and her expectations to all her displays of 'accept my love!' that he isn't mentally ready for.

So in this scene, Garu still is unsure with his feelings about Pucca but throughout the mini series, you see Garu turning more and more to Pucca when she isn't looking and even tries to show more respect for her safety. I'm glad the writers in this reboot decided to explain more of the gentlemen side of Garu than him being a teenage punk to a girl who genuinely loves him. We NEED to see more of Garu's personal ideals on how he sees and wants to treat Pucca, when the opportunity is given, at least.

Take this scene for example: Pucca placed herself in Garu's arms, Ring Ring wants to stop it, and Garu has three choices. He can drop Pucca to the side, he can throw Pucca in the snow and ice skate away from Ring Ring, or ditch Pucca in the open ice and go home to train as a loner.

What does he do instead?

He uses a different person, Pucca's bully, to ensure her safety as he tosses her unto Ring Ring. As he escapes, we can notice one really important thing that took me a while to finally see: Garu is standing up to Pucca by treating Ring Ring the way her 'majesty' so believes she deserves. Garu does not like Ring Ring for how she treats other, unlike Pucca.

He chooses Pucca's safety over Ring Ring's and pushes a safety rug for Pucca to land on. Why? Because Garu truly loves Pucca so much so that after seeing her bullied, he throws his crush to her bully since he knows Pucca's too nice to try anything mean. So Garu did instead.

He wasn't trying to be mean to Pucca. Garu was being mean to Ring Ring for hassling and laughing, like a bitch, to his girl.

Sure, Pucca and Garu aren't exactly dating, but that doesn't mean he cant stand up for his crush by literally smashing down the other competition, Ring Ring. He doesn't care about anyone else other than Pucca's safety, her friends treating her well, and shutting away anyone's attempts to making Pucca's life miserable or complicated.

Garu may see how Ring Ring pushes to get his attention, but Pucca only gets Garu's attention. Pucca's earned his trust by being his personal bubble and he doesn't want that to change. If Garu really wanted Pucca gone and away, he'd treat her like he treated Ring Ring.

Yet, deep down, Garu knows he's rather hold Pucca in front of everyone because he enjoys it and only took the opportunity to throw Pucca like that, is so he could get away from Ring Ring by using her as Pucca's safety pillow. He's too shy but maybe one day, he'll hold her even longer next time :)

So, I just realized a TON in this one flashback.

[Sit down, y'all. This is going to be a bumpy ride ;D before I begin please know this is just my silly opinion in just how I see certain characters. Please enjoy the blog!]

He's mentioned his mom twice, he's shared about his step brother, and Mao Mao brought up his dad in only one episode. Yet, he has mentioned that his mom "says things she would not say" to which I say that he is hinting that he has an abusive past like Mao Mao might have had, but probably worse. Personally, I think poor Badgerclops had a very psychologically abusive mom. He speaks highly about his dad that one time while his mom was.. was really low-key tension going on in the air, if you guys have noticed that. He seems really small in the voice, and he even goes out to try to bring her up in public television. Was he trying to reach out a message to her during "Head Chef" when he was being challenged by Mao Mao?

I think I know why Badgerclops can't take personal critism. He's practically bullied all the time; is the rock to Mao Mao's unstable emotions/heroic thirst for adventure; he's constantly being told he's lazy; fat; and other things.. but to be honest, he IS suffering from all these things that he does try to hint and bring up every once a in a great while that we never get to really hear him out for.

So.. if you all have moms (not trying to offend anybody who may or may not) there is nothing more hurtful than hearing your own mom tell you things about yourself you don't want to hear. I mean, like actual mean things that pertain to feeling absolutely sick to your heart and knowing she shouldn't be saying such mean things to you. I think with the fact that BC has had an eyepatch ever since he was really young changes a lot of things when he was growing up. It seems like no one stood up for him enough either, while Gerald seemed to always win the upper hand to trick an innocent little toddler out of his money. He probably felt like his brother was taking advantage of the fact that he had one eye and no mechanic arm then, so.. poor little guy was probably beat up a lot too.

But here's where it gets darker.

Maybe his mom is responsible for his missing eye, you know? Maybe she's an ex villian, or Badgerclops' family is a gang of badger villains that tried to raise BC their way and it may have resulted in losing his eyeball to gain an eyepatch. He was seriously Adorabat's age when he lost his eye (wait.. are all parents just TERRIBLE in this universe?!) and that type of young mind can be damaged super easily, especially if one flaw about your physical appearance makes everyone judge and become cruel to you; or for instance, someone like our awesome badger here.

Now, let's say it wasn't his mom and Badgerclops just was always ridiculed everywhere he went. Sure he had his reasons to start traveling (probably to get away from his family) alone. He met up with a cyborg gang later which he clearly was probably in tears when he joined, but he couldn't be himself. Not ever in his life could he show his true self til he met Mao Mao, and that's explains why he's so protective of him.

Yet, even Mao Mao and Badgerclops' bond can't tame the larger mammal's inner triggers and insecurities about his whole demeanor when someone speaks out their opinion. If one person said that that awesome hairdo was 'terrible looking' to Badgerclops then I'm pretty damn sure he freaked out, since he didn't wear an eyepatch, AT ALL, and assumed the villagers saw behind his haircut.

Because he clutched his 'missing' eye in sadness.. Mao Mao's flashback, you guys, has a big picture on Badgerclops' mental health just in this few seconds of this screen time.

Mao Mao truly noticed his friend's emotions and decided to just ignore them more than anything 'cause then and now, it seemed like Mao Mao was afraid BC would blow up, and destroy (*cough* murder) every place else in their travels to the point of having to kill him. We're all aware that Mao Mao would probably never have the heart to destroy his closest friend and family he's ever had so he just kept up with his cold distance up til they started to get closer and closer as friends. Mao Mao eventually saw Badgerclops as a big gentle guy but he knows the flaws that he dare not touches.

Mao Mao even showed us how he SAW Badgerclops when he exploded. That's guy eyes changed! Both of them turned blue! That's not normal for Badgerclops! His eyes are blue for a reason in this flashback that either Mao Mao knows and he isn't telling Adorabat, or he's doesn't think about it. The guy murdered a whole village over a hairdo.. wow, um, I'm pretty darn sure Mao is afraid, y'all.

So that can only mean one thing: Badgerclops' biggest flaw is trying to impress people over his personality before they decide to judge him by his looks. That's probably why when the Sweetie Pies first hugged him, he was ecstatic as heck to get more love and physical attention since he doesn't get that much from Mao Mao.

I'm sorry to say that Mao Mao doesn't even know the half of how much pain that has caused his friend to behave in a violent way, once hearing personal critism. Usually, people who are bullied a lot growing up have side effects of deep insecurities that they normally dig up and hide away for a big amount of time; BUT, once they are able to, they will unleash a mountain full of emotions that are unpredictable. I'm not saying everyone gets mad when they hear critism due to bullying. I just think that's BCs' case here.

His brother bullied him, his mom more than likely taunted and created a self conscious bubble for BC, and Mao Mao's neglect isn't helpful either. The fact that we see a new side of Badgerclops being super violent and has a large closet full of sad secrets is pretty sad and mind blowing to watch in this episode. But my favorite part is how much harder Mao Mao tries to show a different side to his relationship with Badgerclops and give him a chance to do as less damage as possible on his man's feelings. I think this one is an episode where we get to see an improvement from episode one and it truly shows.

But I still think Mao Mao was mainly afraid in this episode, which now we can't blame him for. In 'Ultraclops,' Mao Mao ignores Badgerclops' requests and venting to a point throughout their adventures we see. Badgerclops is a helpless little kid inside who just wants to be accepted and not picked at by the ones he encounters. That saying, especially his friends. Mao Mao may be improving but he has a lot more to work on with Badgerclops emotionally and mentally if they are ever going to truly figure out how to heal the wounds; instead of making more of them. I hope they work this out together.

Now I have only one theory about the blue eye colors and that's Badgerclops turning from bad to good. Maybe Mao Mao had such a big change in the ex-villains life that it improved his psychological help. Some people's eyes turn a little brighter once they face less stress in their lives so maybe BCs change in his eye was the one true way to prove it. But then when he gets mad and wants to murder anyone, they turn back blue to prove victory towards the bloody massacre.

That killer is what Mao Mao sees and does not want to kill. So he does ignore Badgerclops' feelings to a point where he still accepts his lover's emotions and for who he is anyway.. sometimes. But now we know how dangerous Badgerclops can be. What do you guys think? Do you think I'm right or wrong? Let me know your opinion too and hopefully I made sense today :)

I'm sorry.. but they always have to sleep in the same freakin' room together- and side by side! It's not Obelix who does this, either. It's Asterix!

Yeah! this little dude keeps bringing Obelix and himself in situations that make them inseparable. Hell, Obelix maybe showing a side to himself that he believes he needs Asterix's help with him making sudden decisions, to answering some of his questions in their quests, but the giant Gaul isn't as clingy as Asterix is.

Take this scene for example: they're guests that have luxury rooms for them to sleep ANYWHERE they want to within this awesome castle. Yet, Asterix makes sure they are placing them in the same room. In real honesty, when I first saw this scene, I thought they were in the same exact bed. I felt tricked.

Not the point, sorry. The point is, I get if most people who have siblings feel the need to be by their side, or even as good friends, you can't just be separated so easily.

It's just.. I don't get that vibe from these two.

I feel like there's an intimacy here that we always get to see when these two are shown in simple situations, such as being in a bed or sharing a meal together. Asterix treats Obelix throughout this entire comic as if he needs to see Obelix or else the little Gaul will not stand for the journey any longer. With the characters in the comic story, they all treat Obelix as if he's truly a burden and despite his whining, Asterix surprisingly holds down a firm foot with Obelix; like a wife does with their husband.

For instance, when Obelix is being a baby about not having any food in him (again) he gets Asterix to comment about his stomach and how he should be considering the lack of food a good thing for his belly. As in, lose more weight, babe. But Asterix just keeps Obelix by his side and even gets upset when a merchant who's helping them to buy off Obelix, two times he was offered, and the second time Asterix claimed that he was getting down.

Now that makes sense right there.

If Asterix feels deep down that whenever Obelix isn't around, maybe he feels like he could do nothing at all; the small warrior with nothing left to prove. In his heart, Asterix needs Obelix because Obelix is the reason Asterix always fights and gets up in the morning to be the Gaulish warrior he claims as himself. The bond between these two is so inseperable that they just can't get enough of being around each other, they need more.

I think deep down, Asterix wants Obelix to shower him with genuine praise and devotion. Sure, Obelix isn't exactly normal when it comes to being average but Asterix loves Obelix for being a different Gaul and holding unto their lives together like they do shows how much Asterix is willing to fight for if it means to get Obelix beside him again.

Just hopefully one day, the comics will show more about why Asterix is so clingy. I'll get to the details of this more in my next blog, part 2 of Asterix's Clinginess xb lmao. Night, y'all.

Do you think Garu is hidden villain? What makes you think that? I’m interested in your theory

Excellent question my dear! To be front, I don't think Garu could be a villain, but in this Netflix series, there are two times where Garu has been anointed towards the choice of the ninja boy staying evil; when the situation comes to his lap, that is.

For instance, he had no choice in his first decision because his body was switched with Tobe's, but you never see him try and make a change in his life style. True, he didn't have any of the evil henchmen do any harm or evil deeds. It's just how easily he seemed alright with adopting a crew of bad guys and being their new leader, even if he didn't intend to do any evil, it's still a new side we see of his choices. Now the second time is interesting enough, because he is tricked by Don King (bad guy) to think they're father and son, so little Garu feels like he finally gets to know about his mysterious past (supposively.)

Wrong! Instead, we get to watch Garu make a choice between his friends or his stranger 'dad' showing up to his door step, and it's not at all what you expect. Garu picks Don King instead of his original 'family' and friends. It's heartbreaking to know that Garu is trying to trick his friends behind their backs so he can win for this guy he JUST MET and he's so ashamed, he wears a mask until it falls off and breaks.

Now, again, he doesn't do any evil. It's just his choices in his morals are not thought through, whatsoever. He's a teenager and he's also unable to reach out to others about his ideals and beliefs, thanks to his vow of silence. So, we don't know what he's always wanting to do half of the time, unless he shows an action, but his action in choosing Don King over Pucca and her uncles.. it was obvious he has been taking advantage of them and he didn't understand what he had truly done until Ring Ring exposed her father's lies to him.

It's heartbreaking, but.. not excusable.

Truthfully speaking, I think his life choices are scratchy, unlike his ninja skills. Garu just needs a better teacher to show him better choices on how they affect others around him. He is young and has a lot to learn. Not evil potential at all :)

The hurt look on Asterix's face speaks out as he should have tried harder than to think about himself, as well as, thought more thoroughly about his decision to leave.

Asterix has every right to be pissed about this mission. He truly does, buuuut his personal mission and goal was to not leave their druid, unguarded. Yeah, the whole village showed up later on to help out, yet none of them can protect Getafix or fight beside Obelix like Asterix can. He's the one warrior who was chosen for this adventure, and being outspoken than most in his village, the film crew could have done a better job with this scene to show Asterix being less selfish and more frustrated with his villagers, not away from them.

The part that made me think Asterix was almost ruined was how he treated Obelix like a dog that just SHOULD have followed him. Sure, he asked Obelix if he was coming, but not in an actual question way; it was more of an invitation to WHEN he will be following Asterix, not asking IF Obelix will be. I think that Obelix only said no because the soft part of Obelix can only be effected so greatly, and dramatically, is through Asterix as a whole. The fact that they both saw things too differently at this point and I think that Obelix's heart was on the right track, and he probably felt betrayed his best friend would turn another cheek on something that doesn't even matter. To Obelix, his little friend was never coming back and he would rather die in the village he was born with, the best friend he was born with, than be with this person who decided to leave. He was not being the Asterix Obelix knows and loves.

Sure, Obelix may be more laid back and way too stupid to see the amount of stress that Asterix sees in this mission, but Asterix also didn't see the emotion part of their quest, either. Obelix did. The giant Gaul recognized his best friend ditching their druid, their friends, their village to literally to go throw a small tantrum about how Getafix is prolonging the mission. To Asterix, he saw it as a flaw that no one is taking their druid being replaced as serious as Asterix is. Asterix saw the logical side, and kept his emotions at bay until he snapped and decided leaving was the best option; well, it wasn't. He could have walked away for a while to cool down, but he left his stuff behind to make a big point: Asterix is wanting to leave the village for good.

That is.. not without Obelix.

We clearly see that in a small amount of time, Asterix goes with his decision and walks away from Obelix and his friends, anyway. Why? Because Asterix doesn't like change and he seems to be fit and set with never letting anything take away his life he likes now. He has his best friend, his druid, his village, and his title. He just wants things back to normal, but nothing is going right how Asterix normally gets to control it. Annnnd, since this whole decision of Getafix's, it is completely far from the warrior's field, he has to simply deal with it and in the back of his head, he still kept doubting and it grew to frustration, which later made him go blind with this temper tantrum.

But Obelix KNOWS Asterix better than this. He knows he's stronger than this and how he decides to treat his friends out of nowhere, making the decision to leave for BOTH of them? That was crossing the last line to Obelix, and the reason Obelix was so heartless was he felt that "little man" replacing him was actually a stranger replacing his best friend. Obelix saw no one but an angry jerk when his best friend would stay no matter what.

At least, Asterix should have. The village could do a better job at respecting Asterix's ideas more, but they are following the druid Getafix with support and love, not Asterix. The little guy was doing nothing more than bitching about anything or being a little shit to somebody, in some way. I just think that Obelix lost his patience because he was keeping it together for Asterix's sake. But now when Asterix acts up and makes it hurtful for no reason? Guess Obelix doesn't like that and he showed it good by sticking up to himself, saying NO to Asterix, and not even giving a second glance when he heard his best friend leave.

They reunion later should have covered more ground about their relationship, but this movie was really more about Getafix than anyone else. Let's hope the next movie will have more fluff and gayness :) let me know what your thoughts are on this scene.

*gunshot* Ca-POW!

Okay, so I have got to point out that Sam doesn't usually care if he uses his weapon around anyone, and just think about it really hard for a minute: Sam just hinted off to Max that he doesn't want his opinion to change of him, and that worries Sam if he CAN take things too far in Max's eyes.

To Max, monsters are awesome and Sam knows this. So, for something that we now know, Sam decides to inherit this second mindset to carry about Max, to share his ideas with him, and be close to his little pal and much as possible.

What do I mean by this? They don't care about anyone else's opinion throughout the entire game and tv series, but they do care about the world to a political sense; meaning, it's more on the justice and government side of "fighting off bad guys" for the Freelance Police, than it being an emotionally drowning job. Them showing small quips like this is a giant hint from Sam his actual mission is getting Max to like him more and be impressed with his skills as an officer of good, and not evil. They hide a lot of emotional comfort from others to help themselves through all the crap, and random social interactions they have with others.

But yet, they camouflage their REAL feelings for only one another.

Now, Sam and Max just don't fight off bad guys to just kill. They act out their bloodlust out on other evil schemes and people just to help out the world, and that's what brings them to hide out their emotions more. These two know they were born with violent streaks and idols as kids and when they finally became the Freelance Police, so when maturity came with it a little more, especially on Sam's end, I believe they both grew emotionally mature to each other more than the world around them.

To Sam and Max, they are each other's world and they're only saving everyone else around them is because those people stumbled in their lives, their relationship and chaotic rein of terror.

The Frankenstein monster is a perfect example of this being true: the monster begs to die, Sam is sure enough to help someone he knows he needs to help Franky outside his career, asks Max not to judge him, and shoots the monster down for its own good.

So that's where this all comes down to this one realization: Sam and Max don't see just any world, they see only each other first and THEN the real world.

It's clear as day they're in love but now being that obsessed with each other just goes to show they're super soul mates to the end :)

Narrator: I was wrong all along! Max is worth saving, after all.

Sam: *nods head* Told you so!

(I think this scene is super important because it shows a side of "Max" that decides he is worth being able to stay by Sam's side, and the Narrator saw in Sam how much faith and true love he carries for his best friend/lover.

The Narrator gave up on the lagomorph when he is the one person not to do so. Sam traced down all the clues, a rescue team, endless errands to grab for the mission, and his determination to believe that his Max is still able to be recovered is a baffling maze to overcome. The Narrator explained himself how he was tired of Max just basically being Max and he wanted a change.

Well, Sam never saw any problem with Max.

He knew deep down in his psychotic mind-set, the white rabbit has a pure heart and that's why he goes out with Sam to fight off evil-doers, criminals, and saving the world by his side. He sacrifices himself all the time, but never has he died from any of their adventures. The Narrator overreacted terribly, by not realizing who Max is as a person, and not a body to just stay in. The whole point of Sam fighting off all these ridiculous challenges is so his buddy can come back to him to show others he may be a monster and a psychic, gay lagomorph but he is nothing, if at all, a quitter.

Sam and Max Freelance Police are not a quitting crew or let alone the kind of people who give up on each other. Sam knows Max more than Max knows himself, and he is the one person who can recover back from the shock and change in Max's mutation to change him back. Even if he gets told to, Sam can't afford to give up when he BELIEVES Max will be turned to his old self.

To me, the game had a small message that if you go through a lot for others that you care about, it can be worth fighting for when they are someone who are close to you, or just somebody can't live without. You fight for them no matter what it takes, and what's turning them to be so problematic is something you should help figure out by their side. Don't think it's a waste of time to help out someone you love or cherish. Sam sure didn't give up. He found himself to appreciate Max more for losing him and going through so much hussle and bussle to return Max back to his normal bunny body.

Frankly, Sam lost a pal but he gained a new chapter to explore with by other Max's side. It's still beautiful that they will always find each other and work together, no matter what. They're destined to be together and Life shows that in there universe, they will stay destined as soulmates to help fight off crime as a team. They're never going to be split apart, even if they don't believe in themselves all the way.)
