These mini cactpot tickets exist to humble us.
If you play Final Fantasy XIV you'll understand my frustration with this. This is the Mini Cactpot, essentially a daily scratch-off lottery ticket. You uncover four spaces, and then choose a line based on what your reveal.
I uncovered the left most column and the center space. 2nd prize is a given, no guessing involved: 9-7-8. However when I it got the results, first prize was in the line next to it: 1-3-2.
There is a first time for everything! And I used a website to help me get this particular first cuz my brain and numbers are not friends, and I wanna get more delicious currency....
the ffxiv equivalent of getting to the last question on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and using your phone-a-friend to tell your buddy you're about to win
