Super excited that not only was my Mini featured in this month's Miniworld magazine but it was also the cover model
A few pictures from the photoshoot for Miniworld Magazine.
While we still have a bit if nice weather I thought I'd have a quick paddle on my kayak. Didn't let the fact that my Honda Civic with the roof bars wasn't about stop me. The trusty Mini Estate came to the rescue. Had to use some crappy inflatable roof bars as I couldn't fine all the bits for my proper roof bars but they did the job for the few miles I had to drive. I wouldn't have used them for any distance further than that
With the weather so nice it was about time we went out for a little spin. First drive of the year after being shut up in my garage all winter. Couple of little jobs to do before the MOT and the end of the month but nothing major. The ruins of Birnbeck island and pier in the background
Remember where we parked
Final checks before going for its MOT. Sun in shining so I'm taking this as a good omen
I was moving some parts between my lockups and only brought 3 things home with me. One thing was my set of original 1971 Dunlop D1 alloys that had been fitted to my Mini pickup. They had a lovely patina but had suffered a little being in storage. A quick brunch up and they looked a bit better. I'm undecided if I should have them refurbished or not. Now their home I just had to fit them
