This is the barn I finished making this past week. I needed some way to store and display my toy horse collection all in one place that would also look nice. It’s made from sheets of foam core and covered with wooden craft sticks hot glued to the sheets. I probably used about 500 sticks inside and outside. I gave it a lighter coating of paint so the exterior would look weathered. It’s hot glued to the piece of cardboard underneath. It’s got 8 stalls, each with a window, and a hay loft. There are no doors on the stalls to make it easier for the horses to go in and out. The roof is removable. The loft is perfectly sized for mini Felicity to sit in the straw and enjoy the presence of the horses while she gazes dreamily out the window. I used these plans for the basic shape and structure, but I did the interior a lot differently.
