Three years today this little guy arrived in the post.

He set me on my action figure story adventures and brought me back to regular writing.

He also made me a lot of lovely Reylo pals who enjoyed his comic strips.

I did a thing.

The story is, for the last 6 months or so my absolute favourite hobby has been making creatures (mostly dragons) out of loom bands. If you don't know what loom bands are, they’re these things:

And they’re usually used by 8-year-old girls making friendship bracelets. 

Anyway, the other day, I realised I don't really contribute anything to the reylo/star wars community. I mean, every now and then i make a shitpost that gets a few hundred likes, but other than that I’m just kinda there. 

So I asked myself, what am I good at? The first thing that came to mind was writing, and then i laughed at myself because my writing is... uh, subpar, you could say. Then I thought maybe I could do some reylo fanart, but I remembered that I can't draw humans (or anything really) either. My last idea was that I could make metas, but then I remembered that most people who make metas are actually smart and know what they’re talking about, so I scrapped that idea straight away.

I felt like all hope was lost. There was no way I could make any contribution to the fandom, and I would eventually just fade away without having accomplished anything. Then I looked over at my shelf full of loom band dragons I’d made in the previous months and realised something.

What if..

I made...

Kylo Ren

and 

Rey?!

(sorry, that was intense).

So I got to work, and after a lot of trial and error, this was the final product:

Their names are Mini Rey and Mini Kylo (or benny for short).

Are they good enough, Tumblr!? Do I have your approval?!
