Made them!

Is it just me, or is Ethan slightly taller than Mark?

Anywho, each are made with only four colours; Unus with two shades of black (inside shirt is a charcoal) and Annus with two shades of white (inside shirt is off-white).

Pretty proud of them, and now there’s something to remember this channel by when the year ends.

Unus and Annus one year apart

I thought I’d finished with these, but evidently I had not. Until now.

I like waistcoats. They make people look fit and smart. They made Unus and Annus look smart. Therefore... minis in waistcoats had to be made.

Also an improvement to the last photo set, because I actually figured out how hair works on crochet.

I’m immensely proud of these. I really like them. The improvement from a year ago is amazing.

This has definitely been the best year of my life.

Unus Annus minis one year apart.

Over the course of one year, I’ve made several crochet projects. I’ve improved in skill, from weird sewing of hair to proper threading of yearn to make hair.

I started this Unus Annus journey making minis of Mark and Ethan in their black and white suits, and I’m ending it with minis of Mark and Ethan in “dead” merch designs.

In terms of crochet, I went from using slightly smaller than recommended books to small hooks in order to create the optimal texture for a crochet mini. The hair changed from going in a single direction to facing multiple directions for partings or the way it will fall.

Mark and Ethan, in this year you’ve inspired me to do so much, and I want to show you how much this year has meant to me and my motivation to improve myself.
