I should mention that my mum works in a plant nursey, but thinks of it very much as a childrens nursery. She talks about her 'children' at work and how well they're doing. Every friday she will without fail bring home whichever of her 'kids' didnt sell that week, as many as she can get away with. From time to time she'll bring home a mini plant thay was rejected for being too small. She calls these her 'baby orphans'.

It's getting out of hand. Every single surface in my bathroom is covered in trays of tiny succulents.
