I know this is like part of the game but my very small rescue has lost 3 kittens in the last week and it's rough. One of them was my sweet polydactyl boy who had been adopted and everything... And he just got super sick suddenly a month later and passed away. Sometimes they don't make it but... He had made it. And it hurts.

It's very frustrating that once kittens get "too old," they become way harder to get adopted. These two are 11 weeks and they're still very small and absolutely babies but people are so fixated on getting as close to 8 weeks as possible. Ugh.
