saw someone on TikTok call Cameron a bad character and also say that people who tell you "hating her for stupid reasons is misogynistic" are idiots......their main reason for hating her was because she tries to fix people, and her relationships with house and chase.

to get point one out of the way, I sure hope Cameron is trying to fix people! she is a doctor after all (stupid joke), but on a serious note, her wanting to fix people is not as big as issue as the show tried to make it out to be. she is attracted to house, yes, but a lot of her attempts to ‘fix’ house is just by showing him that she cares. she doesn’t go out of her way and demand that he changes. she just wants to help heal his internal problems by offering support (despite having her own, because Cameron is truly not great at self-reflection). while I think her relationship with Chase definitely had its faults— Cameron did love him. Her worst offensive was in saviors when she ignored Chase until he broke up with her. yes, Cameron struggles with communication and commitment but let us not forgot SO DID CHASE!! he basically did the same thing and ignored Cameron (while not as severely) after Dibala and came home late and drunk to the point where Cameron quite literally called the police. you cannot act like Cameron was the problem in the relationship when they both had issues that reflected into their relationship.

is this me saying you cannot dislike Cameron under no circumstances? no, you’re free to dislike characters even if it’s for no reason. but when people take illogical reasons and paint that as reasonable to justify their hate of a character is when it becomes misogynistic and clearly show your lack of media literacy. you are allowed to hate characters without proving they’re poorly written. I personally don’t like Adams that much. Not because of any weird reason but because I just simply didn’t click with her character and that is OKAY.
