a relatively simple mini jar spell i did recently with the specific intention of getting back as much of our security deposit back as possible from a landlord who had threatened to withhold a large portion it for cleaning fees. can be adapted for a large number of uses.

materials:

mini jar*

"hard work pays off" powder

a dandelion puff

(optional) melted candle wax for sealing

(*you CAN use a regular jar if you want but like. i didn't make that much powder and the mini jars are great for conserving ingredients, especially if you're poor like me)

optional tools to help you:

funnel (if you've got a real one, more power to you. but i rolled up a scrap of paper and Suffered. it gets the job done, albeit messily.)

tweezers

steps:

gather materials.

fill the jar halfway-ish with "hard work pays off" powder.

put some dandelion seeds into the jar (this is where tweezers will come in handy, especially if you're using a mini jar). however much you want, but by no means should the Entire Dandelion Puff go in there because it probably won't fit! (alternatively, you could adapt this spell to a larger jar and throw the whole puff in there. do what your heart says!!)

seal the jar with melted wax from a candle that matches your intent.

notes:

consider wishing on your dandelion, taking a deep breath, blowing it on it to scatter the seeds (do this OUTSIDE), and using some/all of whatever is left on the puff in the jar. if the whole puff gets scattered from that one breath, nice!! that wish is already well on its way to fruition and you can either skip step 3 entirely, or acquire a second dandelion for use in the jar.

as always, magic is best used to augment practical action. i performed this spell AFTER my housemates and I had already spent multiple days deep-cleaning the entire apartment before moving out.

this spell worked fast for me - my version of the "hard work pays off" powder includes a small amount of ginger root to hasten results, and we heard from the landlord about our deposit within 48 hours of casting. we got the full deposit back btw ;)
