Seriously every time I hear someone say they broke up I lose brain cells. She left because she loved him so much she thought it was the only way to keep him safe.

Even Callum acknowledges this!!

Lujanne: “So this is a thing again? You two?”

It always was!!! They never STOPPED being a thing, from their perspectives.

And I get that there’s a lot of feelings about Through the Moon and that it should have been incorporated into the actual show (and I agree with that to some degree) but like…where would have they put it? It doesn’t fit in season 3…it would be an anticlimactic tag on to the big finale. It would be weird to start season 4 with it and then have a two year time skip between episodes 1 and 2. It just doesn’t fit in the canon storyline. The only thing I can think of is that they maybe could’ve imported more pieces of it as flashbacks (I would have preferred this I think, but this is the story the creators gave us and I love it regardless!!!).

Is such a damn good line. There was pacing issues and a dialogue or two that made me cringe but this one right here is a damn good moment. It hits even harder when you've played the classic series.

You even see Kratos try to instill a bit of that mindset in Atreus early in the game. When they find the bear cubs shortly after Atreus' bear rampage he tries to explain only for Kratos to coldly say;

"intent does not matter, only consequences"

A mistake Atreus makes repeatedly in the story as the consequences of his actions build up despite his good intentions.

Kratos also learned this the hard way and Thor understood the question immediately. You can't undo what you've done but you can do what you can after.

Someone please explain to me the whole point of Buffalo '66 plot because I'm at a loss, lol. Dude is a tangle of issues and spends the whole movie treating a needy young woman, with the world's worst self esteem, like garbage. What was her excuse for not walking away when given a multitude of opportunities, outside the whole "looking for redeeming qualities in a wildly abusive felon"? The ending was cute, I'll give it that, albeit unrealistic. Her aesthetic is extremely pleasing, love me some good balletcore ( as a former ballerina myself ), but again - most of that means jackshit when you're looking at the bigger picture lolol. Not going to lie, they both kinda made me sick. She needs to go gain a brain and a backbone, and he just needs to go learn to not be a brutish, chronically displeased piece of shit. Am I missing a key element here?? Why is this trending on social media?

If I ever die mysteriously, I demand to have my case on Netflix's Unsolved Mysteries.

Cases having exposure to the general public is effective. Many cases (especially ones involving fleeing criminals and lost loved ones) on Unsolved Mysteries and America's Most Wanted have been solved quickly due to the exposure.

We need more general public exposures to unsolved cases. For some cases, the only hope for them being solved is exposure.

it's like you've sacrificed color for 2000s game realism and the ability to actually see 😑

if you look at the first image (Twilight Princess' version of the temple of time exterior) and the third, (Ocarina's temple), you can see how the designs shifted in between games. Twilight's is more stylized and softer, using more muted colors. And it fits the vibe, even if it feels like a bit of an 180 from Ocarina's 90s graphics. Each design has strengths in the way it's implemented.

i've admittedly only played re1 og, but the remake looks muddy and grayscale. :( it has a different mood, which is perfectly fine, but i wish they kept some of the colors from the original instead of going for an overly spooky palette.

fanfiction articles - mini tangent

so i was internetting and came across a website to parents talking about fanfiction. My first thought was “oh good this should be insulting and stupid” (which i wanted to make fun of so therefore entertaining for me)

But after reading it and a couple other articles (searching specifically for like “fanfiction bad for kids?”) and I’m pleasantly surprised by the result. 

While some might be teaching some more out of date terms and like maybe obscurer websites than what i know, they are all generally quite pleasant and so far after reading three or four, none of them have had anything to say about how fanfiction is awful or focus specifically or only on smut fanfiction. 

The only big mention i see about smut in these articles are just warning parents that it does exist and for the more younger teens (they all dress teens or tweens reading fanfic which I guess would be the “normal” age group to at least start out) that they should watch for tags and ratings. 

Now I know that fanfiction is good and not an awful thing full of “cringy” self-insert stories, ocs and smut, I have grown up with more of that view originally (i know now considering ive read fanfics for like, 3-4 years now) so I am surprised to see a lot less bashing of it now. 

I’m quite happy and surprised at all the encouragement I found in these articles. :D

Also, life sucks because the overwhelming populations' brain's can't keep up with the rapid integration of technology that is being developed in our society today, offsetting the job market, leading to the ultimate demise of millennials, when robots begin to replace us all. There is potential for a shift in our brains in this direction, but there needs to be a HUGE education reform. I mean, a goddamn college degree isn't good enough anymore, even though you still have to pay an arm and leg for it. Specialization of many jobs have been broadening tremendously in fields like coding and technology, despite lack of mandatory early education that introduces us to these new specializations really needed in a country this developed. We are wasting our fucking time as a country. I could get more into this but there's so much and I should just stop before I try to prove and dis-prove myself in all different angles. My brain and body should rest and get some shut eye.
